Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Arrange a rack in the middle of the oven and heat the oven to 425°F. Place a baking sheet in the oven while it heats.
  2. Meanwhile, trim and halve 1 pound Brussels sprouts.
  3. In a large bowl, stir together 3 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes.
  4. Toss the brussels sprouts in the bowl with 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and a generous grind of black pepper. Stir until combined.
  5. Place the brussels sprouts on the preheated baking sheet cut sides down.
  6. Roast for 15 minutes. Flip the Brussels sprouts and continue roasting until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, 10 to 15 minutes more.
